This is a Royal Navy Cabinet Card - British Navy Sailors in East Asia CBC7
The photograph was taken by the Shanghai Enlarging Company, indicating a connection to Shanghai, China. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Shanghai was a significant port city with a notable presence of foreign naval vessels, including those of the British Royal Navy. Given the sailors' attire and the location, it's plausible that the ship in question was part of the Royal Navy's China Station, which operated in East Asia during this period.
