  • It was the former seat of the Mildmay family and is surrounded by twelve acres of manicured grounds.
  • During World War II, it served as a maternity hospital.
  • It has since been converted into a luxury retirement village, offering independent living for those over 55 in apartments within the historic house and its grounds.
